South Kesteven District Council is currently consulting on the development of its Trees and Woodland Strategy.

South Kesteven District Council is currently consulting on the development of its Trees and Woodland Strategy. This document will set out our position regarding existing trees and woodlands in the district of South Kesteven– how much tree canopy cover we have; the benefits they bring to our environment and the contribution they make to biodiversity. It will also outline proposals for us to action including working in partnership with other stakeholders to support wider tree planting across the district.

As part of the consultation process, we would like to know what you think of the building blocks of the Tree and Woodlands Strategy.

By taking part you will help us ensure that this strategy will reflect the views of key stakeholders, shaping a document which will govern our approach to these most valuable of natural assets for the next ten years.

Thank you.
